No statute of limitations on murder

Since 1960, the Bundestag had been debating whether murder committed by Nazis should be time-barred, which would prohibit legal action after twenty years. The debate flared up again in July 1979: In the wake of the TV series Holocaust, which was mentioned in several speeches in the Bundestag, the majority of parliament members voted against a statute of limitations.
