A counter-movement in the music scene developed in response to the right-wing extremist terror. ‘Arsch huh, Zäng ussenander’ (‘Arse up, teeth apart’) was the motto of a Cologne campaign against right-wing violence. It organised its first major concert on Chlodwigplatz in Cologne in 1992, on the anniversary of the Nazi November pogroms. The association Arsch huh continues to release songs and music productions against the right today.
