Gongschlag, the school newspaper of the Ohm secondary school in Erlangen, took a stand against right-wing extremist violence in 1992. The drawing caricatures a skinhead’s basic equipment: combat boots, a bomber jacket without buttons and a baseball bat combined with a small brain and a big mouth. In many German schools, symbols like this one were used to combat right-wing extremism.
